How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our family wanted to buy a motor home back in the mid 60's. We liked them so well my Dad decided to start selling them. He met with John K. Hanson at Winnebago Ind. and before long He became a dealer . Dad passed away in 1977 so my brother Don and I , Terry Franklin along with my two Son's Scott and Mick have been running the business up until Don's retirement in 2013. I lost my older Son Scott with ALS in 2012 so Mick and I have bought Don's share of the business and have been operating ever since.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a family owned and operated Winnebago and Itasca Dealership operating out of the same location for 48 years.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have just the one Dealership and at this time we have no plans for opening up another.

We are located north west of Rockford, IL. near the corner of Auburn st and Meridian rd just 1 mile north of route 20 . Our address is 6841 Auburn St , Rockford, IL. 61101

Which areas do you service?
Mostly Illinois , Wisconsin ,Iowa how ever because of the internet we have sold units all over the US.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Terry Franklin , my wife Melanie Franklin along with my Son Mick Franklin are owner operators.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday-Friday 8 to 5 , Sat 8 to 3 and closed on Sunday
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
My customer's telling me of the good times they have had traveling with their families in their RV's . These are special times when you can be with your family or loved one and enjoying this beautiful country we live in. It may be getting your first glimpse of the Grand Canyon or may be just sitting around a camp fire with their families.
